· Matters Arising:
Aisling Quinn has yet to be paid €200 for the team gear provided to the two Junior competitors from last years World Cup.
A Wild Water Development race was held at WWKC in May, which included a pre-race talk on the discipline of Wild Water Racing, training and race preparation. The turnout for this event was disappointing.
Junior Wild Water Racing training sessions are being arranged at WWKC over the coming Saturdays (from 12 August to end of September) in an attempt to raise awareness of WWR racing amongst WWKC Juniors and to hopefully generate interest amongst these Juniors in WWR.
The chairman is to draw up a race organiser’s guide.
· International Campaign:
Despite continued reminders, the final report and accounts from the 2006 World Championships and World Cup races still has not been received from the Team Manager.
A summary report written by the Team Manager was received by the committee. The highly personal nature of this report led to a formal complaint and was thus not circulated by the committee. Despite being informed of the complaint the author published the report on a public bulletin board and this discussion board has since been shut down at the request of the chairman.
Matter will remain open for discussion until final report and accounts have been received – will be carried forward until next meeting.

The Castleconnell event will be nominated as the Irish leg of Home Nations series.
The objective is to provide a wide range of enjoyable events, with varying levels of difficulty but at locations that are both accessible and reliable in terms of being able to provide a navigable course regardless of water conditions.
The Secretary is to contact proposed event organisers to confirm the events, prior to publication of an official calendar. This calendar will be hopefully available in time to include in the Liffey Descent entrant’s race packs.
· Equipment:
Several race bibs are missing. It was agreed that replacement ones be purchased. The secretary is to organise this.
The equipment officer gave a summary of the location of the Wavehoppers.
The USB lead from the video camera is missing. If it is not found, the equipment officer is to arrange the purchase of a replacement cable.
· Website:
The Chairman is to contact Feargal Walsh regarding the new website to get information ported across so the new site can go live. It had been agreed previously that the transition would take place in the off season.
· Coaching:
The Secretary gave a summary of the recent coach development program presentation recently held at the Irish Canoe Union offices. It is hoped to get several experienced Wild Water Racers, who are actively involved in coaching qualified as level 1 and level 2 coaches.
· AOB:
